We’re looking for experienced Clothing and Home (C&H) Store Design & Format Manager to join our Team, as part of our thriving function. You’ll be working on and delivering the future C&H Store environments, initially into our first new concept Store Stevenage, creating and developing future innovations to set our future C&H environments and working on how we rollback the relevant parts into our current estate, all in line with the Clothing & Home business unit strategy.

As a C&H Store Design & Format Manager, immediate work will be developing concepts into the reality of our first transformational Store design in Stevenage across a number of Clothing and Home departments. Innovative thinking and fast-moving decision making will be key in working across multiple stakeholders as well as the external supply base of shopfitting. Beyond this, it will be about being ahead of the competition to create and design new innovative concepts to challenge the future evolving of our C&H Store Environments. You will also be ensuring all these initiatives are delivered to M&S standards, specifications and legal compliance.

What you will be doing
- Translating the C&H Renewal Design concept into the reality of the Store Environment and our first Store of Stevenage. Making the concept come to life into a physical reality and true customer experience.
- Creating, designing and delivering innovative and cost-effective instore solutions for further concepts and future Store of the Future Strategies in C&H.
- Working closely with internal and external agencies, shopfitters, and key business partners.
- Delivering projects to timelines and on budget.
- Establishing effective working relationships with cross-functional Teams at all levels of the business.
- Managing and inputting into the creative development process of the concept into prototyping and Stevenage production.
- Ensuring a safe working environment, and that all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to.
Who we are looking for
- Experience working within a store format and design environment both creatively and practically applying to the retail space.
- Passionate and creatively driven in Clothing and Home Store Environment with a proven track record.
- Strong organisational skills and can re-prioritise tasks if needed.
- Can adapt your communication style as needed, depending on your audience.
- Effectively build and maintain relationships with cross-functional Teams.
- Capable of managing multiple projects with different timescales.
- Confidently manage ambiguity to make informed decisions.
- A keen eye for detail and can challenge in a constructive way.
