Responsibilities include: Evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes, and developing proactive tax strategies. Applying specialized knowledge to identify and address tax issues relevant to the client’s business. Providing technical and project management leadership for Domestic Tax projects, ensuring quality standards. Developing and implementing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including reviewing tax reorganizations and corporate, trust, and estate tax returns. Building positive client relationships and supporting engagement success. Training staff and investing in professional development. Ensuring work is complete, accurate, and properly reviewed, maintaining technical knowledge and professional growth. Recommending and implementing quality or efficiency improvements. Engaging in communication with leadership to support performance and talent development. Supporting revenue growth through client referrals and new business development. Your experience and educationCPA designation, In-Depth Tax Program, and/or Masters in Tax. At least 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in Tax specialization. Extensive knowledge of tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance. Valuing teamwork, client service, and quality work.
