Linux engineer - eLUX

Contract: Linux SME – End User Computing (eLUX)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £500-550 a day (deemed inside IR35)

Location: 60% onsite in Sheffield

Contract for an experienced Linux Engineer who has in-depth endpoint experience with ELUX (a Unicon product that is now part of Citrix) to join a project delivering Virtual Desktop and Desktop as a Service for a banks global End User Computing team.

• 120k elux devices, want to offload voice and video traffic from core network
• Phase 1 – device based authentication (being tested)
• Phase 2 = user based authentication
• Need linux SME to upload the new builds, systems and run testing/remediation
  • + troubleshoot core coding on linux.
