Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join a well-established organisation on a fixed-term basis, supporting a business undergoing significant organisational change.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in guiding leaders through complex employee relations matters, with a strong focus on organisational design (OD) and transformation activity. You’ll work as part of an integrated ER function and be a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
•\\tProvide expert guidance and case management on complex ER issues including redundancies, restructures, and TUPE.
•\\tLead on end-to-end redundancy processes, including planning, consultation, selection, and redeployment.
•\\tBuild strong relationships with senior stakeholders, offering sound, pragmatic ER advice.
•\\tEnsure all processes align with employment law, internal policies, and best practice.
•\\tSupport the delivery of organisational change programmes, acting as a key HR partner throughout.
•\\tCommunicate effectively and sensitively in challenging situations, supporting conflict resolution where needed.
About You
•\\tProven track record in managing complex ER casework, particularly within change programmes.
•\\tMust have hands-on experience delivering end-to-end redundancy programmes, both individual and collective.
•\\tStrong knowledge of employment legislation and the practical application of HR policy.
•\\tConfident working with and influencing senior leaders and managers.
•\\tExcellent communication, consultation, and mediation skills.
•\\tAble to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
