Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of individuals affected by opiate use? We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Opiate Recovery Coordinator to join a dedicated team providing vital support to those on their recovery journey.

About the Role:

As an Opiate Recovery Coordinator, you’ll work closely with service users to develop and deliver personalised recovery plans. You'll provide one-to-one keyworking support, complete comprehensive assessments, and coordinate access to appropriate treatments and interventions – including substitute prescribing, psychosocial interventions, and harm reduction services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of service users with opiate misuse issues
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments and risk management plans
  • Develop and review individual recovery care plans
  • Provide regular keyworking sessions and liaise with prescribers and clinical teams
  • Support service users in accessing detox, rehab, and wider support services
  • Maintain accurate case notes and ensure compliance with service standards
  • Work in partnership with external agencies, including housing, mental health and criminal justice services

Requirements:

  • Experience working in drug and alcohol services, specifically with opiate users
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse, safeguarding, and recovery models
  • Excellent communication, motivational interviewing, and record-keeping skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines
  • [Desirable] Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, Substance Misuse, or equivalent
