Senior Accounts Specialist - Morgan McKinley

Fantastic mid tier city firm is seeking an Accounts semi senior candidate to join their growing team. This team is both supportive and nurturing. In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your Accounting and Tax knowledge in a commercial environment whilst being overseen and developed by some excellent accounting professionalsResponsibilities

• Preparing of accounts from client portfolios within the budget timescales
• Supervising and training junior staff, and providing additional support to the Accounts Seniors
• Producing draft accounts together with a coherent accounts file for review.
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Preparing management accounts.
• Managing general office-based day-to-day duties, as required.
• Ad hoc specialist assignments as and when they arise

Requirements:

• Currently studying ACA or ACCA.
• Able to demonstrate competency in full accounts production from prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages.
• Fully conversant with Quickbooks software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good English, both written and verbal.
• Good time management with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexible attitude, with ability to prioritise workloads.
