TPF Recruitment, Kentβs leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants, based in Ashford. You will be joining a fast growing and successful practice, where you will work in a general practice capacity within the accounts team.
You will be offered exposure to some interesting and complex owner managed business clients, and you will be given lots of autonomy, where you will have direct client contact and excellent career prospects.
A large proportion of the position will be built around the candidate's experience/ aspirations but as an example you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for your own portfolio of clients, reporting to the Directors/ Partners.
- Review of accounts for your clients, including preparation of accounts, and corporation tax returns, management accounts and VAT.
- Acting as first point of call for your clients.
- Opportunity to support clients with management accounts, VAT work and basic tax planning.
Requirements
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Have experience in an independent / mid tier accountancy practice where you have experience of owner managed business clients
- Be able to review accounts work
- Have experience of statutory accounts, corporate tax, management accounts and VAT.
Benefits
- Β£50,000 - Β£65,000 + bonus dependent on experience and background, negotiable
