An established and highly regarded Private Client Tax and Trusts practice is seeking an experienced Tax and Trusts Director to join its London office. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), entrepreneurs, and trustees, providing bespoke tax planning and wealth management solutions.
This position is ideal for a professional looking to step into a leadership role with a firm that values client service, technical excellence, and long-term relationships.
As a Tax and Trusts Director, you will:
- Lead advisory projects across trust structuring, inheritance tax planning, estate planning, and family wealth preservation
- Manage a portfolio of HNWIs, trusts, and estates, delivering strategic tax advice
- Provide thought leadership in complex tax matters, keeping clients ahead of regulatory changes
- Collaborate with senior leadership on business development and client engagement
- Support the team with mentoring, training, and technical development
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in private client tax and trusts advisory
- A CTA/STEP qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax law relating to trusts, estates, and inheritance tax
