About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join an innovative automation business who supply equipment into the pharmaceutical and medical industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on electrical experience to contribute to the build of advanced complex automation systems.

As part of the workshop and site-based team, you’ll play a key role in assembling high-quality automation machinery and wiring complex control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and wire electrical panels and control cabinets to engineering drawings
• Install and commission electrical systems for automation machinery and equipment
• Carry out fault-finding, testing, and inspections to ensure compliance and functionality
• Support engineers during the design and prototyping phases of automation projects
• Work to high safety and quality standards, both in the workshop and on customer sites
• Assist with maintenance and modification of existing systems as required

Requirements:

• Relevant electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in electrical fitting, ideally within automation, control systems, or industrial machinery
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
• Strong wiring, termination, and panel-building skills
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations
