The company also offer a market leading benefits package and annual bonus.Position overview:This role is to support the current Wilton Sembcorp Maintenance & Outage Team. The Turnaround Preps Engineer is responsible for the detailed planning and preparation of turnaround (TAR) events, ensuring all engineering and technical requirements are accurately defined, resourced, and scheduled to deliver safe, cost-effective, and timely execution. This role supports the entire turnaround lifecycle, from scope development to post-turnaround review. The Preps Engineers role will report directly to the Turnaround leads.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Positively encourage a culture of safety first.Lead Mechanical, Fabrication and External contract scopes of works for turnarounds on all assets, ensuring alignment with turnaround objectives.Manage multiple Sembcorp and contractor teams from preparation and planning, whilst also in execution. Work with the Turnaround lead to ensure the execution phase is on time and on budget.Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation, and statutory requirements.Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials and servicesIn conjunction with the Turnaround lead, work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to define shutdown work scopes, ensuring integration of all tasks into the overall turnaround plan.Inspire and motivate the site and contract teams to deliver brilliant results as standard.Ensure all Turnarounds preparations and contractor site visits are facilitated to ensure detailed scopes are ready for outage schedulesDevelopment of detailed work packs, job scopes, and risk assessments tailored to each asset.Ensure adherence to Safe Systems of Work by all parties during events.To champion and sustain best practice work, including effective preparations and scheduling of turnarounds.To be actively involved in defect elimination during turnarounds.To be actively involved in Turnaround Optimisation and Asset Tactics to deliver plant and equipment performance in line with commercial obligations.Ensure Village workshops and storage areas are clean, tidy and orderly in accordance with 5S methodology, taking accountability and ensuring engagement of team.Oversee permit-to-work (PTW) processes during supervision and ensure all safety documentation is in place before work commences for mechanical or fabrication scopes and all contractors.Conduct pre-shutdown briefings and toolbox talks to align teams on safety and work procedures.Work with equipment suppliers to identify scopes and drive through improvement opportunities during Turnarounds.Monitor, advise and take ownership and action on critical path items to improve plant availability/reliabilityGenerating and raising continuous improvement ideas.Advanced user of the computerised maintenance management system, Excel, word etc.Ensure timely closure of all SAP orders relating to specific assets.
