With a £1 billion turnover and looking to grow to £2 billion in the next 5 to 7 years, my client requires the services of a 5 to 8 year+ experienced HR Professional, to work in one of their flagship regional business units.
The business unit this HR professional will be working out of is their London region, which equates to almost half of the company revenue.
The ideal candidate would be someone that comes from a construction specific background, so either developer, main contractor, or sub-contractor, or someone from an infrastructure, aviation or civils background.
Outside of the above, candidates would be considered from various other industries, as long as the candidate is very much in line with their company culture.
Key skills and responsibilities of the role include:
- At least a CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher, and/or equivalent within BSc or MSc
- Candidates already conducting the position, or someone looking for the next step up in their career will be considered
- Proven ability at managerial responsibilities and capable to manage a team of up to 3 other HR professionals
- Duel capabilities of reporting initially to the Regional Managing Director on all operational duties, while having a dotted line into the Group HR Director on other technical HR related matters
- Currently, or looking to work in a very hands off/decentralised function, whereas full autonomy will be given to you on a daily basis
Depending on the calibre of the candidate, my client would look to pay up to £80k plus package and bonus for the right individual.
