What You'll Do:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
  • Foster a love for literature, language, and communication in students of all abilities
  • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and strong written and verbal skills
  • Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking English department or adapt to a variety of schools as a supply teacher

Who We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • A strong academic background in English (QTS or ECT status ideal, but not essential for supply roles)
  • A motivated, flexible attitude and confident classroom presence
  • Two recent professional references
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Desirable:

  • At least three terms of experience teaching in a UK secondary classroom
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle
