The predicted salary is between 35000 - 40000 £ per year.

Our client is a large plastic injection moulding manufacturer with large blue chip clients and they are in the process of expanding their production. The opportunity is for a skilled setter / technician to join this well established business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Change over tools and trialling any new jobs
  • Optimising efficiency of the other jobs and resolving any issues relating to production in a timely manner
  • Monitor the quality of the moulds to ensure they comply with regular quality checks and minimise the amount of moulds sent to scrap
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure that 5S is followed throughout the manufacturing
  • Liasing with production planners in regards to any problems that occur and assisting where possible with any amendments / repairs

Job Requirements:

  • Past experience within a similar role
  • Good knowledge of injection moulding and some extrusion
  • Ideally would drive and have their own transport
  • Excellent communicator with an enthusiastic attitude

Hours:

  • Week 1: 6am-6pm Monday- Thursday
  • Week 2: 6pm-6am Monday- Thursday

This shift pattern will rotate on a weekly basis.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
