LB393 – Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer\\n\\nSalary: £40,000 – £45,000\\n\\nLocation: St Albans\\n\\nOverview:\\n\\nFirst Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.\\n\\nOur client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.\\n\\nDuties and Responsibilities:\\n\\nReporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the role is to be the day to day onsite and technical lead within the operations team for the Fire and Life Safety department.\\nFocused on servicing, reactive calls and commissioning. This includes high level commissioning and fault finding various systems. Whilst also being involved in the development of the current Engineering Team from both a technical and personal level.\\nCommissioning of fire alarm systems ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.

Size of system ranges between standalone 20 device systems to 500+device systems with multiple networked panels.\\nUtilise your experience and technical ability to fault find on all systems to identify rectification action.\\nHave advanced knowledge on system set ups and configuration utilising various software’s on a wide variety of panels.\\nBe able to understand and configure cause effects on a wide variety of panels.\\nOnsite training and development of all engineering team members. Working with the Engineering Manager on training and development plans.\\nProvide a high level of technical support both to your engineering team as well as the wider business. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.\\nBe available to support onsite with service related issues relevant to your team and technical skillset.

Look to resolve high level technical issues ensuring we are providing unrivalled customer experience.\\nEstablish and ensure a high level of quality control procedures and standards to implement within the team.\\nConduct regular inspections and audits of engineering works to ensure these standards are met.
