Specialising in Landlord & Tenant work across a diverse commercial property portfolio.

Our client is looking for an experienced Estates Surveyor to join their Property Strategy and Estates team on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Landlord and Tenant matters, particularly Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals across a varied commercial estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on Landlord and Tenant negotiations, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and re-gears.
  • Manage a caseload of commercial property matters across operational and investment portfolios.
  • Provide expert advice on lease terms, valuation, and property strategy.
  • Support the delivery of income targets and ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver best value outcomes.
  • Contribute to wider estates initiatives, including acquisitions, disposals, and asset management planning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in commercial property, with a focus on Landlord and Tenant work.
  • Proven track record of handling rent reviews and lease renewals independently.
  • MRICS qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Confident negotiator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, public sector environment.

Start date: ASAP

Contract length: 12 weeks

Day rate: Β£400 (flexible depending on experience)

Working pattern: Hybrid (site visits as required)
