Our client is looking for an experienced Estates Surveyor to join their Property Strategy and Estates team on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Landlord and Tenant matters, particularly Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals across a varied commercial estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on Landlord and Tenant negotiations, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and re-gears.
- Manage a caseload of commercial property matters across operational and investment portfolios.
- Provide expert advice on lease terms, valuation, and property strategy.
- Support the delivery of income targets and ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver best value outcomes.
- Contribute to wider estates initiatives, including acquisitions, disposals, and asset management planning.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in commercial property, with a focus on Landlord and Tenant work.
- Proven track record of handling rent reviews and lease renewals independently.
- MRICS qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
- Confident negotiator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, public sector environment.
