CAD Technician

Job Title: CAD Technician – Roofing & Cladding\\nLocation: Derbyshire\\nSalary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on experience)\\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\\n\\nAre you an experienced CAD Technician / Draughtsman with a experience in roofing and cladding? If so, we want to hear from you!\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\nAs CAD Tech / Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans for roofing and cladding systems, working closely with project managers, architects, and site teams to ensure the successful delivery of each project.\\n\\nAbout the client:\\nWe are delighted to be working alongside our client who are a well-established and growing specialist contractor within the roofing and cladding sector, known for delivering high-quality solutions on a range of commercial and industrial projects across the UK.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming works, they are looking to strengthen our technical team with the addition of an experienced Draughtsman.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nPrepare accurate and detailed CAD drawings for roofing and cladding systems.\\nInterpret architectural and structural drawings to develop workable design solutions.\\nCollaborate with design and project teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.\\nAttend design coordination meetings as required.\\nEnsure drawings comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and client requirements.\\nAssist with drawing revisions and document control.Requirements:\\n\\nProven experience as a CAD Technician within the roofing or cladding sector would be useful.\\nProficient in AutoCAD (experience with Revit or other 3D modelling software is advantageous).\\nStrong knowledge of roofing and cladding systems, including materials, detailing, and fixing methods.\\nExcellent attention to detail and organisational skills.\\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:\\n\\nCompetitive salary up to £50,000 and benefits package.\\nOpportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects.\\nSupportive working environment with opportunities for progression.\\nOngoing training and professional development.If you feel you would be suitable to the role then please apply with an updated CV or contact Rich at Linsco for further information.
