Join our Day Lewis Pharmacy Team in Topsham, Exeter for 16 hours per week. Day Lewis is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant - Dispenser. Successful candidates will have opportunities to develop and advance their careers in Medicine and Clinical Care. We are a fast-paced, innovative pharmacy business committed to development and engagement with the future of pharmacy. A career as a Pharmacy Assistant is an excellent stepping stone into this dynamic field.

The initial stage involves settling into our team and completing the Day Lewis Induction training. Depending on previous pharmacy experience, you may need to undertake a pharmacy assistant course, which typically lasts 3-6 months. Our vision is to develop the next generation of Pharmacy Technicians, supporting with courses, training, and reimbursement.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support as a Pharmacy Assistant is vital to providing advanced and enhanced services. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy by ensuring excellent customer service and effective operation in line with company policies.
  • Assisting on the front counter, welcoming and supporting patients.
  • Being an integral part of a small, dedicated team.
  • Building relationships with patients and healthcare organizations to deliver effective, patient-friendly service.
  • Contributing to a team that values hard work and recognizes contributions.
