What you’ll be doing:
- Reporting to the Hospitality Manager you will assist in overseeing daily hospitality operations, ensuring efficiency, high standards and impeccable customer service.
- You will be responsible for a small team of hospitality staff and a number of casual staff depending on the event.
- The CCD is the first state-owned, public access building. Designed by an award-winning Irish-born architect, the CCD quickly became a landmark building on Dublin's skyline when it opened in 2010. Its stunning glass-fronted atrium gives visitors panoramic views of the River Liffey, Dublin city centre and the Wicklow mountains. The building offers 22 multi-functional rooms used for conferences, banquets, meetings and exhibitions. It was recognised as the first carbon neutral constructed convention centre in the world.

- Hands-on operational role which includes setup and execution of service
- Lead set ups for events ensuring events are set to venue standards within agreed timelines
- Supervise and develop the hospitality team
- Work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
- Management of small meeting rooms within the venue
- Adhere to and assist with driving the Health & Safety and sustainability aspects of the venue
