Works within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), Balance Sheet Management (BSM) Analytics. Provides support to senior stakeholders across CIB, supporting strategic initiatives with critical insights. Also supports colleagues more broadly across BSM, Product, Origination and Coverage teams with critical reporting and insight.
Client Services Group (CSG) focuses on the financial needs of large corporate clients within the Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division. Our growth strategy is built on our expertise in transaction banking, debt financing, and risk management. Within the Balance Sheet Management (BSM) function in CSG, you'll lead and contribute to the delivery and implementation of analytics objectives. This includes developing, driving, and embedding analytical tools and providing insights to coverage, product, and origination areas, as well as to Risk, Finance, and Treasury functions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop insights to shape the direction of our CIB Balance Sheet, demonstrating leadership in initiatives and projects.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring tools and opportunities align with needs, and facilitate their rollout through workshops and presentations.
- Experience managing small teams, analytics projects, or strategic insights, including collaboration across functions, managing stakeholder expectations, planning work, and mentoring colleagues.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building relationships and communicating effectively.
- Proficiency in extracting insights from data, storytelling with data, and driving business actions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous, numerate, with significant experience in SQL and Power BI.
- Ability to think strategically while understanding operational details and a drive for continuous learning and innovation.
