A Tier One Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to oversee the delivery of electrical services on a major commercial development in Central London. This is a prestigious, high-value project that demands technical excellence, leadership, and a strong track record in managing complex MEP packages from inception to completion.
The Role: The Electrical Lead will play a critical role in coordinating all electrical elements of the build, working closely with the MEP Project Manager, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives. The position requires robust leadership, an eye for detail, and the ability to drive quality and safety standards on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical installation on a large-scale commercial build from pre-construction to handover.
- Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to program, quality, and compliance.
- Collaborate with design and coordination teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation.
- Ensure health & safety standards are rigorously maintained.
- Report progress, risks, and resource requirements to senior management.
- Support commissioning and close-out activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior electrical role on large commercial or mixed-use developments.
- Strong background working with Tier One or large-scale main contractors.
- In-depth knowledge of current building regulations, British Standards, and industry best practices.
