Head of Operational Analysis – Well-Established Consultancy – Full Autonomy

We’re working with a well-established consultancy that’s growing its capability in strategic decision analysis. They’re looking for a Head of Operational Analysis to oversee and develop a high-performing team delivering insight-led support across multiple sectors and clients in defence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and mentor a team delivering evidence-based insights, scenario analysis, and simulation outputs.
• Partner with stakeholders to guide capability choices and long-term planning.
• Develop internal tools, methods, and frameworks to enhance decision support offerings.
• Maintain delivery standards, provide technical oversight, and contribute to commercial opportunities.

We’re looking for:

• Strong experience in quantitative or systems-based analysis within the defence industry.
• Skilled in shaping structured assessments, strategic modelling, or investment justification.
• Comfortable leading teams and working with clients across high-assurance environments.
• Prior experience in consulting or advisory roles within complex projects.
