The purpose of this role is to manage opportunities from qualified to close using standard sales methodology on bundled (Service Line) deals. Develop relationships with buyers and decision makers at new and/or existing clients. Protect and grow the business, acting as point of contact for escalation/resolution on all opportunity related issues with the client and internal stakeholders.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Commercial Sales to join our team and act as the business leader for DSI’s commercial team in EMEA. This role will focus on selling our global sports properties that we hold in the East into West, driving commercial success for us in Europe. You will have the opportunity to develop a comprehensive commercial strategy and implement it by prospecting and engaging with potential clients. This opportunity will be based in London, UK.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with global premium properties, while leading the pitch process to brand clients from deck creation to inventory management, pricing, and client services across Europe.
- Act as the head of DSI’s commercial team in the European market.
- Develop a brand-led strategy and lead regional sales tactics for Europe.
- Ensure targeted revenue generation through the management of Salesforce performance.
- Collaborate with MKTG, Dentsu Sports Analytics and wider dentsu sports networks to develop our consulting business and integrated solutions in the region.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience commercializing sports and entertainment properties.
- 10+ years experience implementing sales strategies by prospecting and engaging with potential clients, delivering presentations and negotiating contracts.
- Proven track record in personally securing global and regional sponsorship contracts, with values surpassing 8 figure USD, for sports and esports properties.
- Strong relationships/black book of contacts to leverage and unlock opportunity.
