Job Summary: Reporting to the Marketing Director for Europe, you will be responsible for leading the overall social media strategy across multiple brands across all of our European markets, ensuring that our brands engage, inspire, and grow their audiences across platforms. You will oversee many social platforms across diverse markets, adapting content to align with local cultural nuances, consumer preferences, and market trends. Developing strategic content plans and collaborating closely with regional content creators, you will ensure impactful and locally relevant storytelling. You will be responsible for both organic and paid social media, managing a team of social media coordinators to drive brand awareness, engagement, and performance. You will also work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing innovative social media strategies that align with brand goals and drive audience growth.
  • Overseeing the development of platform-specific content strategies, ensuring high engagement and brand alignment.
  • Managing paid social media campaigns, working closely with performance marketing teams to optimise reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Ensuring active audience engagement, fostering strong relationships with consumers and brand advocates.
  • Staying ahead of emerging trends, algorithms, and platform updates, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Working closely with creative, content, and brand teams to ensure a cohesive storytelling approach across all social platforms.
  • Defining key metrics and analysing social performance based on data insights.
  • Effectively using resources to plan and allocate, maximising marketing impact and ROI.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of social media coordinators, ensuring best practices and consistency across all brands.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior social media leadership role across Europe, managing both organic and paid strategies.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, content formats, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams across multiple brands across Europe.
  • Expertise in paid media planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to content performance and optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong English skills are essential and additional European languages would be an added benefit.
  • Able to travel as needed across the region.

The role will ideally be based from one of our hub locations in either Breda, the Netherlands; Copenhagen, Denmark; or the North East of the UK.
