We are seeking a European Environmental Compliance Specialist to join a dynamic environmental and sustainability team within a well-established global organisation. With a strong commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles, the company is looking for a proactive individual to support the implementation of its 2030 Environmental Vision.
In this role, you will take the lead on chemical compliance across European operations, ensuring regulatory adherence with legislation such as REACH and RoHS. You will work closely with supply chain, commercial, and product development teams to integrate compliance into product lifecycle strategies and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitoring and interpreting environmental and chemical compliance legislation in the EU
- Coordinating with international stakeholders and trade associations to influence and adapt to policy changes
- Supporting internal compliance procedures and sustainability reporting
- Liaising with sales offices and the global headquarters to ensure unified compliance efforts across regions
- Contributing to communications and training on environmental compliance topics
- Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of chemical legislation, particularly REACH, RoHS, and eco-design regulations
- Proven experience in environmental compliance within a commercial or manufacturing setting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
