This role would suit applicants that are looking to increase their knowledge in manufacturing, engineering, software, computer science or any other relevant discipline. It provides the opportunity to learn hands-on application of skills, whilst adding to projects and being supported by a highly skilled team of engineers.
Working as a right hand person to the Digital Factory team leader, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and operators in the digitalisation of the factory. You will also be working in tandem with the Quality Department, to ensure the adherence of the workflows to the respective standards.
The Role:
- Generating reviews, work instructions and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures, equipment working instructions and quality control Procedures
- Resolve manufacturing problems in a timely manner
- Assisting the NPI team with PFMEAs and Work Instructions
- Introducing quality improvements to achieve βRight First Timeβ standards
- Working hand-in-hand with Quality Department with regards to issues with ISO 22163
- Procure configuration data from Team Center
- Implementing innovative solutions to optimise processes in the factory
The Person:
- The ability to be empathetic and flexible with communicating with various departments
- Good team working skills
- Being proactive with a can-do mindset
- Experience of engineering specifications and standards would be advantageous
- PC literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office and other MS platforms
- Knowledge of PC workings, software, Networks, Databases advantageous
- Able to work to targets and timescales
- Eagerness to learn and to take advantage of the learning opportunities provided
