Interim Mosaic Finance Systems Specialist - Reading

We're seeking an experienced Mosaic Finance Systems Specialist to support key transformation and improvement projects within Reading Borough Council's Social Care Systems team.\\n\\nYou will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the Mosaic Finance module, ensuring seamless integration with core systems including E5 (Finance) and NEC DM (Document Management). This role will provide critical system configuration, functional testing, and support during a period of major organisational transition and system upgrades.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nDaily support and configuration of Mosaic's Finance module\\nAnalyse and document financial data flows between Mosaic and E5\\nMaintain financial reference data (e.g. suppliers, service types, budget codes)\\nManage invoice matching, certification, and payment cycles\\nConduct functional and UAT testing for system upgrades and integrations\\nProduce documentation and support knowledge transfer across the systems team\\nAssist with system reconfiguration related to the BFfC transition to RBC and the Rapid Improvement Programme\\nSupport the upcoming Mosaic system upgrade, ensuring data integrity and successful integration\\nCollaborate with Adult Social Care digital transformation teams to embed new processesEssential Experience & Skills:\\n\\nProven hands-on experience with Mosaic or similar social care case management systems\\nStrong knowledge of social care financial processes including invoicing and payment cycles\\nBackground in system configuration, structured testing, and data validation\\nExperience supporting finance system interfaces (preferably with E5)\\nExcellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skillsDesirable:\\n\\nPrevious experience in a local authority or public sector environment\\nFamiliarity with SQL, UAT coordination, or business analysis\\nKnowledge of E5 or NEC Document ManagementThis is a key interim post during a time of organisational change and digital transformation.
