We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Ride-On Roller Operator to join our clients teams on busy civil engineering and construction projects across the Midlands. The ideal candidate will be confident operating a ride-on roller machine to compact soil, stone, tarmac and other materials to required specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a ride-on roller to compact materials for roadworks, groundwork, and other construction-related tasks
- Carry out pre-start and daily checks on machinery
- Work efficiently alongside groundworkers and other site operatives
- Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times
- Maintain good communication with site supervisors
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Ride-On Roller ticket
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots)
- Good work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
