Cost Estimator & Project Accountant

Location: Reading, UK Employment Type: Full-time | Flexible Working Options Available We are hiring a professional Cost Estimator & Project Accountant to join our cultural and artistic renovation project team. This role will oversee the entire cost management cycle, from initial cost estimation to financial tracking and analysis during construction, ensuring project efficiency and financial control. Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates for different project phases, construction budgets, and change cost assessments. Participate in the preparation and analysis of tender documents. Track cost control and payment management during project execution. Assist in drafting project financial plans, cost analysis, and budget comparisons. Supervise financial reports to ensure contract execution aligns with the budget. Coordinate financial compliance matters with auditors and regulatory agencies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Financial Management, or related fields. Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project cost estimation or finance, with knowledge of UK construction cost systems. Proficiency in cost control and financial management software (e.g., CostX, Excel, Sage). Strong analytical skills, budget control capabilities, and financial acumen. Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese. Professional certifications such as RICS or ACCA are preferred.
