Infrastructure Engineer

Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer – Elux Engineer

Duration: long-term contract

Location: UK Based Hybrid

As an Infrastructure Engineer – Elux OS Engineer/Specialist, you’ll develop, optimize, and support the Elux operating system with a focus on performance and integration. You’ll work on SCOUT for system monitoring and predictive maintenance, help design the virtual desktop setup, and ensure compatibility with Windows 11 for a seamless user experience. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, UX, and IT teams to enhance the overall Elux platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the deployment, and management of Elux-based systems and devices.
• Deliver and maintain Windows 11 environments across end-user devices and virtual desktops.
• Manage and automate deployment tasks using Jenkins, Ansible, and PowerShell.
• Provide expert-level support for Citrix environments, including Citrix desktop delivery and user session troubleshooting.
• Configure and manage VMware infrastructure for desktop and app virtualization.
• Utilize or support the Scout Management System (nice to have).
• Contribute to management or deployment of Windows 365 environments (nice to have).

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Elux systems and Linux System.
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and PowerShell for infrastructure automation
• Working knowledge of Citrix desktops, Citrix session management, and Citrix delivery groups
• Proficient in VMware administration and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
• Exposure to risk management and remediation activities in enterprise IT environments
