Systems Accountant

A Systems Accountant is being recruited for our growing Ringwood based client. This is pivotal time to join the business as they have recently merged with a larger business which requires the integration of financial information to streamline financial reporting.

Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the IT team, you will have responsibility for:

• Financial systems management
• Maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Technical support to finance teams, assisting with system issues
• Identifying and implement automation opportunities and process
• enhancements
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Month end process for multiple subsidiaries
• Variance reporting
• Assisting with budgets and forecasts
• Liaising with remote finance team
• Full time hours but 30 hours considered with flexibility

Suitable Candidate

• Qualified or Part Qualified with relevant systems and accounting experience
• Advanced Excel essential
• Power BI, ODBC links and data extraction and analysis experience
• Experience of multi-currency and multiple entities
• Management accounts experience in a multi-currency environment
• Strong accounting systemsskills – Xero in particular would be useful
