urbanbubble are looking for an outstanding General Manager to lead the team at our luxury development in Wandsworth! The General Manager will be solely responsible for delivering all aspects of the lettings and management of the development, including the delivery of exceptionally high quality customer service. Our New Acres Build to Rent development is one of our most stylish and prestigious yet, with 816 apartments under management across 14 buildings. There is an exciting array of amenities for our residents to join including a gym, outdoor lido, private dining rooms as well as 24/7 concierge and onsite maintenance. This is a truly special development and requires a special kind of operator to fill this role – does that sound like you? The role requires a 40 hour working week, between the hours of 8:00am – 8:00pm with occasional weekends. What do we offer? £63,000 – £75,000 + 10% performance related bonus 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and your birthday off Private Medical Insurance Enhanced family leave policies, cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan, enhanced sick pay, study support and much more! What will you do? Be solely responsible for delivering all aspects of the Operational and Budgetary management of the development, including the delivery of exceptionally high-quality customer service. Ensure the smooth running of the building and that all the resident services are carried out to a high standard. Provide inspirational leadership to a highly motivated team that is committed to working within a culture of continuous improvement, outstanding performance, and excellent levels of Resident satisfaction. Manage and create the budget for the building, ensuring the operation is run both efficiently and effectively. Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reporting on lettings performance and operational budget management. Implement and fully support an engagement strategy that includes resident communication and events as well as feedback and satisfaction levels. Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are being properly implemented and a safe environment is provided for residents and staff. Deliver all KPI’s through effective operational management and deliver the highest possible standards in line with Service Level Agreements. Recruit, develop and retain talent by promoting peak performance through effective people management, embracing the one-to-one and review process. What are we looking for? Experience managing a large residential complex or hotel. Good understanding and practical experience of H&S and building management. Experience of managing budgets. Strong communication, influencing and relationship skills. Excellent people management skills and experience of managing large teams. Experience developing high performing teams in a fast-paced demanding environment. The ability to work proactively and to use initiative in a highly competitive and dynamic environment. High levels of energy, drive, enthusiasm and passion for developing themselves and supporting their team. Desirable: Health and Safety qualification. ARLA Qualification.
