Lawn Technician Location: West Leicestershire (East Leake down to Broughton Astley) Salary: c£24,000 Basic + Bonus & Commission Schemes (OTE £26,500) Hours: 37.5 hours per week GreenThumb Ltd have been making lawns look beautiful, lush and weed free for over 30 years. The Role Due to further expansion, they have a great opportunity for a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual who is either an experienced lawn care professional, landscaper or someone looking for a fresh, long term career opportunity in an outdoor environment. Full training is given so the right attitude is more important to them than horticultural experience, however fully qualified lawn care operatives are actively encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out lawn care services on customer’s premises using the GreenThumb method with approved machinery and materials. * Organising and managing your daily work assignments and assisting colleagues with their own workloads when necessary. * Ensuring accurate completion of the work along with the administration associated with the role. * Developing and managing their lawn services in West Leicestershire. * Representing the company’s high standards. * Building strong relationships with their customers and internal team. * Identifying any lawn issues and offering advice on any additional treatments which may be required. Skills and Qualifications * An understanding and desire to follow company-wide set methodologies and processes. * General physical fitness. * Comfortable working outside across all seasons and in all weather. * Demonstrable experience of offering outstanding customer service. * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. * The ability to multitask, prioritise workload, to work under pressure and to deadlines. * A genuine desire to learn and “can-do” attitude essential. * PA1 & PA6 qualifications preferred but not essential as training will be given. * Full driving licence essential. * Living within a reasonable distance of their office in East Goscote. The role once trained, involves working mostly on your own. As such, they are looking for a highly trustworthy candidate to ensure all customer’s lawns treated are done to the highest standards possible.
