Options Trader (Crypto)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced options trader with a strong background in the cryptocurrency space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing large block trades, optimising transaction costs, and managing execution risks in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute large-scale crypto options trades across multiple channels.
• Develop strategies to reduce trading costs and manage execution risks.
• Build and maintain efficient, reliable trading execution workflows.
• Negotiate with OTC counterparties to secure optimal trading terms.
• Monitor market movements in real time, adjusting strategies to capture opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate closely with research, risk, and compliance teams to ensure all trading activities align with the fund’s overall strategy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of options trading experience, with a strong focus on crypto markets; traditional markets experience is a bonus.
• Proven ability to execute and optimize large trades in fast-moving environments.
• Deep understanding of market microstructure, trading algorithms, and electronic trading platforms—especially within crypto exchanges.
• Experience in OTC trading negotiations and strong risk management capabilities.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure; fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
