Are you a proactive AV Specialist with strong coordination skills and a passion for making things run smoothly? We’re hiring on behalf of a financial services client for a unique contract role supporting the decommissioning of office spaces across the UK.
The Role
You’ll join a small, hands-on team within the Unified Communications function, helping manage the closure of various office locations. Your job? Audit AV and equipment on-site, decide what can be reused or decommissioned and coordinate with third parties to get everything where it needs to be.
Expect occasional travel to locations across UK (all expenses covered). You’ll scope out requirements during site visits, then return at a later date to support setup or decommissioning.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Surveying and auditing AV/telephony equipment
- Identifying reusable vs. decommission-able hardware
- Coordinating with third-party suppliers and internal teams
- Supporting site logistics and ensuring rooms are ready for AV setups
- Reviewing support agreements and reporting on progress
- Working closely with the Corporate Real Estate team to meet project deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Strong project coordination and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Self-sufficiency and the confidence to manage third parties
- Ability to work proactively without micromanagement
- Interest in tech/AV—formal certifications would be nice-to-have
- Organised and reliable with a problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable liaising across departments and working to deadlines
- Financial services experience is a nice-to-have , not essential
