We are looking for a dynamic, visionary Head of Sports Marketing to lead and elevate our client’s sports marketing strategy across grassroots, professional, and global event platforms. You will be at the forefront of shaping the brand’s presence across the sport and beyond.

From driving high-impact professional player partnerships to scaling our award-winning Youth & Academy programs, this senior leadership role offers the opportunity to transform how a category-leading brand engages with the sport on every level.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Define & Own Strategy across all sports marketing pillars – pro players, youth development, and event engagement.
  • Lead a High-Performing Team.
  • Grow Youth Academies and expand scalable grassroots and talent pathway initiatives.
  • Build Pro-Level Partnerships – oversee player representation, sponsorships, and league activations.
  • Drive Innovation – including gamified grassroots models and digital platform integration.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders – across governing bodies, leagues, and players.
  • Build reporting tools and define KPIs that link sport strategy to brand impact.

What You’ll Need

  • 6+ years of experience in sports marketing (e.g. football, rugby, cricket, or similar).
  • A proven leader of youth/grassroots programmes and talent pathways.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and team development skills.
  • Track record of delivering strategic, scalable projects.
  • Passionate about sport.
  • Digitally minded – with knowledge of platforms that enhance grassroots engagement.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
