Our client is seeking a talented Automation Test Analyst with a passion for quality assurance and automation. In this hybrid role, you’ll be working on-site in Winchester 1–2 days per week, contributing to the reliability and performance of our software solutions. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-moving, collaborative team where your expertise in automated testing, API validation, and DevOps practices will play a key role in the technology transformation.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Manage test cases, pipelines, and defect tracking using Azure DevOps
- Perform API testing using Postman to ensure full endpoint coverage
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions
- Support performance testing activities (experience with LoadRunner is a plus)
- Continuously identify quality risks and test coverage gaps
Qualifications
- Experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps (test plans, CI/CD pipelines, dashboards)
- Solid hands-on experience with API testing using Postman
- Skilled in using one or more test automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium
- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles
