We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our commercial team, focusing on inland fuel sales through both ex-rack and delivered-in supply models. This is a dynamic and fast-paced position requiring strong relationship management, commercial awareness, and cross-functional collaboration.
As an integral part of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring operational excellence across the customer journey. The role is office-based in London or can be remote and involves regular interaction with internal teams including logistics, finance, trading, customer service, and middle office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication, meetings, and site visits.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer support, resolving queries and ensuring high service standards.
- Prepare commercial proposals, respond to tenders, and support pricing negotiations in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, outreach, and lead generation.
- Work closely with logistics and operations teams to monitor deliveries and swiftly address service issues.
- Collaborate with customer care teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Assist with internal reporting, providing insights and updates to commercial leadership.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems, including customer onboarding, trade entry, and forecasting.
