Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automation Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for infrastructure automation and a strong grasp of automation concepts and patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows to optimize infrastructure deployment and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and reliable automation solutions.
- Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform to manage and provision infrastructure resources.
- Work with tools like Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
- Utilize GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development.
- Develop scripts and tools using Python or Golang to support automation initiatives.
- Implement containerization solutions with Podman and manage the deployment of containerized applications.
- Use Temporal for orchestrating workflows and automating repetitive processes.
- Manage secrets and sensitive data securely using Vault.
- Operate and maintain network and infrastructure inventory systems such as NetBox.
- Collaborate on provisioning and management tasks in bare-metal environments using Ironic.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of infrastructure automation concepts and patterns.
- Hands-on experience with at least some of the following tools: Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Vault, NetBox, Podman, Ironic, Temporal, Python, or Golang.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices for infrastructure deployment.
