Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in system administration and a deep understanding of Kubernetes and Anthos. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux OS and cloud platforms (preferably GCP, with AWS or Azure as alternatives). You will be instrumental in managing our on-premises environments using Anthos, optimizing our infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration and operation.
Job Description:
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Anthos, Terraform, Kubernetes, ISTIO, and ArgoCD.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes multi-region deployments to ensure optimal performance and reliability across geographical regions.
- Implement event-driven autoscaling using KEDA and Knative for efficient resource utilization and cost optimization.
- Streamline build and deployment processes using Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and/or TeamCity to achieve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Set up robust tracing and observability tools, such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger, to monitor system health, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and operations to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and improve system reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and container orchestration technologies.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience of 10+ years as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong background in system administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, with specific experience in managing Anthos environments.
- Extensive experience with Linux OS, including administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (GCP preferred, with AWS or Azure also acceptable).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
