Can you lead large-scale, multi-platform marketing campaigns for the world’s leading authors? We have an exciting role available for a passionate, creative and experienced marketer to join our award-winning marketing team as Deputy Marketing Director.

The role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier marketing across all imprints within the division and you will develop a range of high-profile brands, authors and talent across both fiction and non-fiction.
Working alongside and reporting to the Director of Marketing & Brands, you will also have creative and strategic input on pitches and new business, in addition to contributing to our on-going success by planning, implementing and overseeing creative, innovative and highly effective campaigns.
The role includes direct line-management responsibility for up to five members of the team.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and deliver industry-leading marketing campaigns across fiction and non-fiction, including transatlantic campaigns and brand authors.
- Manage a talented campaign team of up to five marketers.
- Play a key role in the Cornerstone digital marketing strategy.
- Deputise for Director of Marketing and Brands where needed.
- Contribute to Cornerstone beyond your specific marketing remit as a senior colleague within the division – develop successful strategies with input from sales, editorial and publicity for key brands and authors.

- Excellent people management and leadership skills, ideally with experience managing two direct reports or more.

- Ability to work to tight deadlines and with excellent project and stakeholder management skills.

Salary
£56,000 – £70,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
