Quality Inspector in Sandbach

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a QualityInspector to join our clients team based at their site in Sandbach!

APPLICANTS MUST COME FROM A ENGINEERING / FABRICATION SETTING TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

EVENING SHIFT MONDAY-FRIDAY.

Our client is a large well established fabrication company that prides itself in being able to offer stable, long-term employment in the area. Having been successful year upon year they are now looking to expand their quality team with the appointment of a quality technician.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis, therefore meaning, you\’ll be employed directly by the client.

What you\’ll be doing:

You\’ll be part of our clients quality team, working alongside the lead quality engineer responsible for:

• Ensuring Products and processes meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and audits through-out the production process.
• Ensuring the correct procedures are carried out when non conformance is identified.
• Ensure PPAP elements are completed correctly and on time.
• Providing clear data driven feedback.
• Assist with the introduction of new products into production.
• Identity areas of improvement.

Hours:

Initially you\’ll need to be available for the day shift during your training period, these hours are:

Monday to Thursday 07:30hrs – 16:30hrs and Friday 07:30hrs – 12:30hrs.

Once training is completed your shift pattern will then be:

Monday to Thursday 14:00hrs – 22:00hrs and Friday 12:00hrs – 18:00hrs.

Pay:

£35,000 – £50,000 per year, depending on experience and shift selected.

+ a £2000.00 signing on bonus for joining our clients company.

Pay is weekly, paid every Friday.

Experience required:

• Previous experience required working as a quality technician or similar in the fabrication / engineering sector.
