Are you ready to pivot into a rewarding career in performance testing with one of the industry’s most prestigious clients? We’re offering a paid 8–10 week cross-training program, followed by a 2-year full-time placement where you’ll apply your new skills on real-world enterprise systems.
What You’ll Learn & Do:
- Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to simulate high loads on REST applications.
- Manage Load and Stress Testing across web, REST, and standalone Java applications.
- Write and manage load test scripts using Python, Groovy, or similar scripting languages.
- Create and maintain bulk test data to support a variety of performance testing scenarios.
Preferred Skills:
- API Testing using REST/SOAP and standalone Java APIs.
- Familiarity with Cucumber, Selenium, and other automation frameworks.
- Strong Java programming skills to build and customize test scripts and frameworks.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like APPD, JConsole to identify performance bottlenecks.
- SQL/database knowledge and understanding of performance tuning and query optimization.
Good to Have (But Not Mandatory):
- Ability to create dashboards and reports to communicate performance test results.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines like TeamCity or GitLab CI.
- A basic understanding of security testing principles.
