Thrive Group are delighted to be working with a market leading organisation, based in Frome that is actively looking to recruit a Technical supervisor to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

  • Co-ordinate site visits from the chemical supplier, including CIP audits, hygiene inspections and improvement projects.
  • Manage the chemical budget and ensure spend is tracked to avoid overspend.
  • Complete the 6 monthly quality screening, order the kits and schedule the screening assessments with all personnel that complete quality assessments on site. Ensure adequate record keeping.
  • Organise & carry out CIP Validations to schedule.
  • Collate all validation results and generate the validation reports.
  • Carry out Hygiene Audits across site to agreed schedule and generate the audit report.
  • Raise any non-conformances as required, and manage close out.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Food industry experience, particularly in laboratory testing, hygiene, and CIP systems.
  • Experience of audit standards and raising non-conformances.
  • Background in chemistry would be a distinct advantage.
  • Good supervisory skills of people and processes.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Able to build good working relationships with factory and management personnel.

  • £32,500 per annum DOE
