A rapidly growing, well-backed financial planning firm is looking to recruit a Paraplanner / Trainee IFA to join their growing team. This is a key role within the firm’s expansion and holds the genuine opportunity to transition into a full financial planner position where you will inherit a large/established book of clients.

The Role:

  • Work closely alongside the current Financial Adviser as a key contact for a loyal and established client base.
  • Act as the daily point of contact for clients, building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Join client meetings and play an active role in ongoing client service and advice delivery.
  • Be fully involved in the advice process while preparing to transition into an adviser role.
  • Ensure a smooth and gradual handover of clients to maintain continuity and comfort for all parties.
  • Undertake Paraplanning/Technical support for both the current Financial Adviser and book of clients.

This is a unique opportunity offering a clear and supported path of moving into a full advisory position and inheriting a client book within 12–18 months.

What we’re looking for:

  • A Paraplanner with strong technical knowledge and excellent client communication skills.
  • Someone with the ambition and ability to step into an Adviser role in the near future.
  • Tech-savvy and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable managing a remote or hybrid working setup.
  • Willingness to attend client meetings in person when required (clients are based around Wellington, Taunton, Barnstaple, Weston-Super-Mare and along the M5 corridor) – you MUST live locally to these areas.
