It’s a critical position in ensuring efficient communication, technical accuracy, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical liaison between internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, including the nuclear regulator.

  • Coordinate resolution of technical and regulatory issues related to plant design, safety, and operations.
  • Ensure consistent alignment between design documentation, licensing submissions, and operational needs.

  • Ensure interface risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with nuclear safety culture and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience working across multidisciplinary and multinational teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Eligible for security clearance as required.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with SMRs, Gen IV technologies, or large-scale nuclear new builds.

  • Prior involvement in licensing, permitting, or safety case development.
  • Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE/CEng) status.
