Senior AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Role: AWS Senior / Lead Cloud Security / DevSecOps Engineer

Salary: Circa £80,000 + Benefits

Location: UK remote, travel expensed where necessary

Opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds, on Europe’s most exciting projects. This role will be working on one of the retail industry’s largest transformation programmes which has a truly global reach.

You’ll work at the very cutting edge of cloud-technologies, and will be best suited to either a Senior, Lead / Principal level DevOps engineer, or AWS DevSecOps engineer. That has breadth across Automation, Cloud and Security/

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead on a critical project for the organisation, which is largely focused around technology security. This would likely appeal to DevSecOps Engineers that have experience designing and optimising cloud infrastructure (AWS)

Working heavily with Automation tools, Scripting Languages (Python) and Cloud Security.

Key Experience:

• Demonstrable experience in a Cloud Platform, DevOps or DevSecOps role, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and SME, working with high performing teams
• Experienced working within a Security team, or working on a DevOps Security Project/Programme, experience and knowledge in Vulnerability management
• Cloud Security tooling, any cloud-native tool
• Strong experience with AWS cloud environments
• Demonstrable experience with IAC tooling, ideally Terraform
• Strong experience in Automation – Python / Bash

The role can be based anywhere in the UK, with occasional travel as and where needed
