Senior Town Planning Manager – House building

Bristol

£70k – £85k plus package.

We are working with a leading housebuilder who are looking to strengthen their team with a Senior Planning Manager to manage planning applications for immediate development housing sites and strategic land projects across the South West.

On offer if a salary of circa £70k – £865k plus package.

You will be a town planner with experience of leading on planning applications on immediate, development land for housing projects. You’ll work with internal teams and external consultants, handling housing applications, experience working on large, multi-phased masterplans for strategic land would also be beneficial but not essential

You’ll work closely with the regional land & planning director, with the autonomy to handle your own projects. There is some flexible working on offer for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage current and future planning applications
• Support the land buying team with appraisals for future land purchases
• Provide monthly reports to the planning director on projects
• Stay current with planning policy updates for local authorities in Essex

Key experience:

• Degree and MRTPI qualified.
• Experience working on planning applications for 50+ unit projects
• Experience with large, complex strategic land planning applications would be advantageous but not essential.
• Solid knowledge of planning policy in the South West.
