Vacancy – Senior Sourcing Manager Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for an opportunity to expand your skills and experience by taking the lead on high-impact procurement projects, making a tangible difference to the delivery of a sustainable, value adding and resilient supply chain in a dynamic environment? We are seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to drive success across a variety of procurement activities. Your role Reporting to our Head of Procurement, youll have the unique opportunity to manage and influence a diverse range of procurement initiatives for goods, services and works contracts, frameworks across dynamic markets. You will lead and inspire the team in the sourcing of a variety of strategic or high value procurements and sourcing strategies, from sourcing vessels to overseeing £500m capital construction projects, whilst fostering collaboration across the broader procurement team to ensure compliant, efficient, and effective purchasing processes. Youll engage with stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring our procurement practices align with regulated procurement processes and current legislation. By building and managing sustainable supplier relationships, youll deliver a resilient, value-adding supply chain that supports Peel Ports ongoing success. What you\’ll bring You will: Have detailed knowledge and experience of regulated procurement, including dealing with contentious procurement matters The ability to work with and influence senior level business stakeholders Have experience of developing and leading a high performing team Have detailed knowledge and experience of drafting and negotiating a variety of supplier contracts including industry standard forms Have experience of delivering procurement innovation including in a regulated environment Who are we?
