Damp and Mould Surveyor Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester(Office, patch and home based) Temporary Contract (minimum 3 months, with potential for extension) Up to £32.00 per hour Immediate start Think Community Partnership are seeking a skilled and proactive Damp and Mould Surveyor to join our client on a temporary basis. Covering properties across Worcester, Cheltenham, and Gloucester, you will play a key role in identifying, diagnosing, and recommending solutions for damp and mould issues within residential properties. Key Responsibilities Carry out thorough property inspections to identify and diagnose damp and mould issues. Produce detailed reports outlining findings, root causes, and recommendations for remedial action. Collaborate with maintenance teams, contractors, and internal staff to implement solutions efficiently. Ensure all works comply with relevant health and safety standards and housing regulations. Communicate effectively with residents, providing guidance and updates on works as needed. Keep accurate records of inspections, reports, and completed actions. What Were Looking For Proven experience conducting damp and mould surveys within residential or social housing environments. Strong understanding of property inspection techniques, root cause analysis, and remedial solutions related to damp, mould, and condensation. Excellent report writing, IT, and communication skills. Ability to manage workloads effectively. Relevant surveying qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Surveying, or equivalent). A CSRT (Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment) qualification is desirable but not essential. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across Worcester, Cheltenham, and Gloucestershire. What We Offer Competitive hourly rate (DOE). Mileage reimbursement for travel.
