Responsibilities

• Delivering a full range of building surveying services from instruction through to completion
• Leading condition surveys, building pathology investigations, and complex defect analysis
• Acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment, fit-out, and repair projects
• Undertaking cladding assessments, fire safety-related surveys, and remediation advice
• Advising on building regulations, statutory compliance, and fire safety best practice
• Producing high-quality technical reports, specifications, schedules of condition, and dilapidation assessments
• Carrying out pre-acquisition and technical due diligence surveys
• Mentoring and supporting Assistant and Graduate Surveyors
• Building strong, trusted client relationships and supporting business development initiatives

Requirements

• MRICS-qualified Chartered Building Surveyor
• Minimum 2 years\’ post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment
• Strong technical knowledge across building pathology, construction, and contract administration
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with confidence and precision
• Excellent communication, report-writing, and client-facing skills
• A proactive, commercially aware, and solutions-driven mindset
• Ambition, leadership potential, and a genuine commitment to professional growth
